Monji Hotel – Mashhad

Monji Hotel in Mashhad is located on the southern side of Reza Bazaar and near Sheikh Toosi Street. This 3-star hotel is considered one of the hotels close to the shrine and offers bright, airy rooms and suites accommodating 2 to 6 guests. Monji Hotel was established in 2014 with eight floors and 45 rooms to provide pilgrims and travelers with a comfortable and affordable stay among the city's hotels. Amenities and services such as an Iranian restaurant, café, room service, and housekeeping are available. The hotel's location adds to its advantages; you can reach the Imam Reza shrine in under a 10-minute walk, and you are also close to shopping centers, restaurants, and cafés. In addition, you have access to the metro station, taxis, and a bus station from the hotel for getting around the city.

This was my second stay and it was excellent.
Very good
Overall, it was good given the amount paid.
The hotel's sheets and bedspreads were not very clean. There was no kettle, and if you called for one to be brought to you, it would not be delivered. We were initially given a room that did not have adequate ventilation and had an odor of sewage, but we were eventually exchanged. The breakfast was decent and comparable to a 3-star hotel, and its main advantage is its proximity to the shrine. The hotel is also quite new. In general, if you want a hotel near the shrine for just sleeping purposes, this is not the right choice.
For the following reasons: Inappropriate management behavior, which is due to false pride!!!, poor management, lack of hotel knowledge and professional ethics.... They do not even perform simple actions such as greeting and welcoming guests, and they likely consider Iranian pilgrims who cannot be treated like Arabs inappropriate. Lack of honesty and providing false information. Very low quality and unhygienic and cold food and drinks for both meals were served, despite showing objection to the apparent respectful manager, only silence was observed and no apology was made, and the problem was justified. The sanitary facilities had inadequate ventilation (did not work), there was no bedside lamp, no toothbrush and toothpaste (which was stated in the room amenities) and the cafe was closed. The room was very small and depressing. The hotel is quite close to the shrine, but car access and public transport are not available due to pedestrianization of the area in front of the hotel, you have to walk from there along the market and use public transportation and then the shrine. I will certainly not be using this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone.
Although it had a self-service option and the menu was open, the food in general was not good, especially dinner.
The hotel was amazing, everything was great! But if the price could be a bit lower it would be better.
In general, the prices of hotels are a bit high here, but it was good.
The self-service was good, but the room was a bit small and depressing.
