Jarahi River – Behbahan

This bridge is a relic of Sassanide period, and was constructed on the Taab River en route from Behbahan to Imamzadeh Ja'far. Now a days in summer, with depression of water surface level of the river, the remnants of this bridge can be observed.

The said is situated to the south of Behbahan. The portal leading to the area of the tomb, has three inscriptions on each side. In the older section are inscriptions dating 1053 AH coinciding with the reign of Shah Abbas Safavid II.
