Namak Abrud Forest Park – Chalus

One of the promenades of the north of Iran is the intact and natural forests that keep their freshness and beauty throughout the whole year. One of these districts is Namakabroud forest park which is now known as the exemplary touristic district of Mazandaran province. Namakabroud forest park has an area of more than 200 hectares and like other forest parks include agrarian and massive trees. Various species of Ash, Alder, Ulmus glabra, and Maple are among these trees. The age of the Ash trees are estimated to be more than 700 years old.
