Anza Apartment Hotel – Kalibar

The couch is not a bed and if someone sleeps on the couch, you have to pay an additional fee.

Referring to this place as a hotel is an insult to hotels in the country and around the world. Anza is an average guesthouse with friendly and hardworking staff. If you are looking for a hotel, it is definitely not the right choice.

The hotel was really clean. There was a large bathtub which is very nice after a long walk in the Babak Castle. The hotel breakfast was complete. Fried eggs, sausage, cream, honey, jam and lentils... The hotel staff were really nice. We had a great stay.

I absolutely do not recommend staying at this hotel (although the term guesthouse is more suitable for this place). A one-day trip to Anza Apartment Hotel, which could have been one of our best memories, turned into a sad memory due to staying in this guesthouse... This year in the summer, my family and I traveled to various cities in East Azerbaijan Province and stayed in this hotel for one night. Upon arrival, we were forced to enter through the restaurant door because the main door was closed (apparently due to repairs), and seeing the modest hall right away affected us. Our room was a one-bedroom suite and it was clear from the heat and other aspects that it had been empty for a long time. The windows had very thin and mesh curtains, which made it difficult to sleep early because of the bright light. The split air conditioner did not cool at all and only blew like a fan, and there was a portable water cooler in the kitchen which when we put water inside it started dripping violently from underneath and flooded the entire kitchen, and after turning it on, the room became as hot as a bathroom, so we gave up. There were no slippers in the room, but only one was in the bathroom. The carpet in the room was worn and dirty. There were no toilets or mirrors in the bedroom and living room. The kitchen had no facilities except for a sink and cabinet, even there was no plate or glass. We arrived at about 8 pm with great fatigue and left the next day morning, but these few hours were the worst part of our one-week trip... The worst thing that happened to us was that in the middle of the night after using the toilet, I realized that there was a leak from underneath it towards the bathroom floor, which made us have to wash our feet and the bathroom floor after each use. The next morning, the toilet also got clogged, which was very frustrating... The hotel staff were responsive to the above problems but did not solve them effectively. Given the short time we stayed there, they could not do much. In my opinion, the main problem is the lack of care for the hotel, inadequate training of staff and weakness in hotel management... I hope that our bad experience does not happen to anyone else.

Hello. This hotel is not really a hotel. It is a group of apartments that can be said to be two and a half star hotels. The most important feature of the hotel was its friendly and very respectful and polite staff who made every effort to satisfy customers. When we arrived, they informed us that our booked rooms were not available but for customer satisfaction they offered us units with double the price at the same price we had booked.
