This place was known as the Samaeian mansion and, like other aristocratic Safavid houses, has both an inner and outer courtyard. Sonati Traditional Hotel in Isfahan is located in an old alley-garden in the city center and in 2007 all 15 of its rooms were restored and renovated. Now this hotel offers travelers an affordable stay in an old house with traditional customs among traditional hotels. The inner courtyard of the house was reserved for the lord and is currently for hotel guests only and not open to the public. In the outer courtyard, where ordinary people lived, the hotel's café and restaurant are located. At this hotel you can book rooms with capacities from one to six people. During your stay at Sonati Traditional Hotel in Isfahan you will experience living in a museum for a few days; you can sit in the courtyard beside the hotel's beautiful pool, and the staff strive to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. From the traditional hotel you can walk to many of Isfahan’s attractions such as the bazaar (600 meters), Naqsh-e Jahan Square, the Imam Mosque and Ali Qapu (1 kilometer), and Chehel Sotoun Palace (1.5 kilometers) with a 10–15 minute walk. The hotel is 20–30 minutes by car from the Bird Garden, the Fire Temple, Hasht Behesht Palace, and the Isfahan International Exhibition. And a 6-minute walk will take you to Takhti metro and bus station. Resident guests can benefit from free bakery training in a suitable space inside the hotel.
